Completely Washable - All components of Big Shrimpy beds are machine washable and dryable, even the filling! Many pet beds use materials that cannot be washed. Benefit - If the bed gets soiled (urine, vomit, etc.), pet owners don’t have to put up with the odor or replace the bed. Just wash it! All of it! (Please note that the filling must be removed from the inner green ripstop bag to be washed and Big Shrimpy recommends that it be washed and dried at a laundromat.)

Made to Last - Our products use 420 denier nylon packcloth, fleece, synthetic suede, ripstop nylon, heavy-duty zippers and polyester thread... materials used for backpacks and other outdoor equipment. The Original and Nest beds feature inner cushions that are water- and odor-resistant, but if the SmartFill™ filling does become soiled, the outer cover and inner cushion can be unzipped to remove the filling for washing. These functional design features also allow replacement of the outer cover when needed instead of discarding the entire bed. The Nest bed is designed to be flipped inside-out to double the lifespan of the bed.

Environmentally Friendly - Big Shrimpy beds are filled with pre-consumer recycled polyester fiber. Since 2002, we have recycled over 300,000 pounds of polyester fiber as filling in our pet products.
